HARD ROCK HOTEL
Scope:
The award winning London project comprised of the check-in, the Hard Rock Café, the Rock Royalty (VIP Guests), the Rock Shop and all other associated facilities within the Hard Rock Café brand.
Within the dry lining package an acoustic (mass barrier) ceiling was completed throughout 80 percent of the floor to stop the noise from the live acts reaching the bedrooms above. This involved two types of CDM-PHS hangers to enable the acoustic suspended ceiling to be hung separately to the mechanical services and the finished suspended ceiling. The remaining works followed with dry lined acoustic partitions separating the different areas; recessed partition walls for the memorabilia cases; coffered feature ceilings throughout and Armstrong lay-in grid accessible ceilings to the kitchen areas.
The Hard Rock Cafe’s success was further established through winning The International Hotel and Property Awards 2019 and becoming a finalist at the SBID International Design Awards. These accolades reflect the superior finish that this dry lining company can provide.
